My Honda Accord is five years old, and the front pads are almost finished. The advisor at my last service gave me two prices, one for normal pads and one for premium pads that cost almost double. When I asked what the difference was, he just said premium ones are better. That did not help me. I live in Dubai and drive about thirty minutes each way to work, with a lot of stop and go traffic, so I use my brakes a lot. The car has about seventy thousand kilometres. A friend told me premium pads last longer and make less dust. Another friend said normal pads are fine for daily driving and I would only waste money. I looked online for a Premium Brakepad Replacement Dubai, but every page said best quality and best price, so I still do not know what the real difference is. Do premium pads really last longer in the heat here? Do they stop shorter, or is that only for fast driving? Is the dust really less on the wheels? Do they make less noise? Also, do I need to change the discs at the same time, or can I keep them if they are still good? How long does the job take, and can I wait at the shop? If you tried both kinds, please tell me what you picked, what you paid, and how long they lasted. Easy answers help me most.
