Throttle response feels sluggish lately and I can't figure out why
-
Noticed over the past couple of weeks that my Wrangler feels less responsive when I put my foot down, like there's a delay before it actually accelerates. It's subtle enough that I wondered if I was imagining it, but my wife drove it the other day and mentioned the same thing without me saying anything, so it's definitely real. No warning lights, no weird noises, just this lag that wasn't there before. I've been reading up on possible causes since I don't want to just ignore it and have it turn into something bigger. Someone recommended Zenfo Auto Services Jeep repair and I've had a look at their page to get a sense of the kind of diagnostic work they do, which seems more thorough than the usual guess and swap approach I've experienced elsewhere. Curious if anyone's had similar symptoms, could be throttle body, could be sensors, could be something with the transmission mapping, no idea. Would rather hear from people who've dealt with it than keep speculating.
