I've read enough forum posts to know the Pentastar has a bit of a reputation for rocker arm and lifter issues, so now every little sound has me second guessing. I'm in Musaffah and I'd rather find someone local who actually knows these engines instead of a general garage that'll just tell me it's normal. I came across an Expert overview of Jeep Pentastar 3.6L repair while searching around and it did help me understand the symptoms, but I'd still like to hear from owners who've dealt with this firsthand. At what point does the ticking become a real problem rather than just character? And does catching it early actually save you money or is the damage already done by the time you can hear it?
